In medicine, a prosthesis, (from Ancient
Greek prĂ³sthesis, "addition, application, attachment")[1]
is an artificial device that replaces a missing body part lost through
trauma, disease, or congenital conditions.
V.I.P. Member Donald Bell's long awaited new prosthetic leg,
one again standing talk! A prosthesis, (from Ancient
Greek prĂ³sthesis, "addition, application, attachment") is
an artificial device that replaces a missing body part lost through
trauma, disease, or congenital conditions.
A few years back our VIP member
Donald Bell lost his leg to Diabetes and has been on the list for some time now
but just a few day ago he received his long awaited prosthesis leg and I do not
recall seeing him any happier for some time now.Of course now he must adapt to the new addition initially having to endure a great deal of pain until the adjustment is made but as you can see from a few of the images in this article, lots of others have over come the pain and adapted to a new way or a new freedom of movement in life once again; just as I feel certain
Donald too shall overcome.
