Three police officers in Los Angeles, California, were legally justified and acting in self-defense when they fatally shot a homeless man, Charly Leundeu Keunang, in March 2015, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office has determined. 


Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Sergeant Chand Syed and Officers Francisco Martinez and Daniel Torres "acted lawfully in self-defense and in defense of others" when they shot and killed Keunang, 43, on March 1, 2015

The murder was caught on video by the homeless who were there and there was no gun as seen in this presentation. the family of a homeless man who was fatally shot by LAPD officers on Skid Row filed a $20 million lawsuit against the department.
